Wondercraft Raises £2.3M to Revolutionize Audio Creation
London-based organization Wondercraft has raised £2.3 million to enable anyone to create AI sounds. The creator of AI audio content, Wondercraft, has received a seed round of £2.3 million, led by Will Ventures and supported by Y Combinator, ElevenLabs, Steven Bartlett, and other angel investors, in order to expand their 'Canva of audio' platform.
With the use of technology, anyone can type their way into producing studio-caliber audio recordings in any language for podcasts, advertisements, audiobooks, meditations, or training materials. The funding will be utilized to enhance the platform's functionality and increase the options that Wondercraft users may access. Wondercraft was established by Oskar Serrander, a former COO at Acast and executive at Spotify and iHeartmedia, along with Palantir engineers Dimitris Nikolaou and Youssef Rizk.
The founding team started out on a goal to include audio into every creator's and brand's toolset by fusing their experience in the creator business with engineering know-how. They were passionate about audio storytelling and technology. Wondercraft users may add high-quality audio to a wide variety of creative projects. The platform offers templates that can be used to convert articles into audiobooks, blogs into podcasts, and advertising material into marketing campaigns.
To aid customers in creating high-quality audio experiences, Wondercraft provides professional music, video production, custom AI script assistance, and incredibly realistic AI voices in its templates and tools. In only a few minutes and at a fraction of the usual cost, studio-quality audio may be produced without the need for a studio, microphones, mixing equipment, or editing software. The platform also provides a tool for smoothly translating and dubbing new or ongoing projects into more than 15 languages using artificial intelligence.
