Volt and Bumper Partner to Revolutionize Open Banking in UK Auto Industry

Volt and Bumper have joined forces to promote open banking in UK auto dealerships. The partnership aims to eliminate settlement delays and friction for dealerships, allowing for real-time payments and improved cash flow.

Since January 2024, over £3 million in payments have been processed in the UK, with dealerships experiencing smoother transactions and increased customer satisfaction. The integration will soon expand to additional European nations as part of Bumper's expansion plans.

Open banking payments are now available at over 5,000 UK dealerships, including leading automakers such as Audi, Ford, Porsche, and Volkswagen. This collaboration between Volt and Bumper signifies a significant step in driving open banking adoption in the UK.

Both companies have raised substantial funding, with Bumper securing $46 million in Series B fundraising and Volt raising $60 million in Series B, indicating strong support and growth potential for their partnership.
