Evaro Raises £1.18M to Provide AI-Powered Pharmaceutical Services for Consumer Brands

Evaro, a UK-based digital health startup, has raised £1.18 million in seed funding to provide AI-powered clinical and medication prescription services for minor medical conditions.

Founded by Dr. Thuria Wenbar and Dr. Oskar Wendowski in 2018, Evaro aims to handle over 40% of GP appointments by establishing digital clinics for consumer brands or offering pharmaceutical infrastructure-as-a-service.

The funding, led by Cornerstone VC and joined by the University of East Anglia and Syndicate Room, will enable Evaro to offer 2,000 treatments, covering 70% of minor health issues typically treated by NHS doctors.

With a focus on democratizing healthcare access, Evaro's plug-and-play service allows brands in various industries to enter the digital health space and provide safe, prompt treatment for their clientele, relieving pressure on doctors and nurses.
