Slovak startup Elv.ai secures a £500,000 investment to combat online hate speech and scams using a combination of AI and human moderation. Originating as a non-profit project in response to geopolitical events, Elv.ai effectively shields social networks from fraudulent activities and misinformation.

With over 5,000 identified fake identities and 2,500,000 addressed hate or disinformation remarks since its launch, Elv.ai expands its impact in the Czech Republic through collaborations with Prima TV and Economia publishing, showcasing its effectiveness in maintaining online safety.

The investment comes from the CB ESPRI Impact One fund, reflecting its commitment to businesses promoting positive social impact. Elv.ai's tool exhibits potential not only in the Czech and Slovak markets but also in other European markets.
