London-based startup CharitableBookings.com has raised £5 million from angel investors, including Lord Stanley Fink, former CEO of Man Group, to launch its online platform aimed at redesigning the charitable giving space. The platform offers a premium offering with a commitment to charitable giving, allowing users to make donations to charities of their choice while receiving exclusive lifestyle benefits.

Founder and Executive Chairman David Johnstone announced the launch of The Global Pledge initiative, aiming to raise £1 billion for charities worldwide. Users can pledge to donate £75 directly to one of several charities listed on the site and receive a Premium lifetime CharitableBookings.com membership as a thank you gift.

CharitableBookings.com offers exclusive access to over 500,000 hotels at wholesale prices across 200+ countries, with luxury lifestyle benefits including access to restaurants, clubs, bars, boutiques, and wellness spots. Premium members also have monthly chances to win travel and lifestyle experiences and gifts worth between £100 – £25K.

Additionally, 1% of every honored hotel booking is donated to the member’s favorite charity, with over 500,000 US and UK causes to choose from. Johnstone's previous initiatives include co-organizing The Children's Party At The Palace and founding The Global Party, which raised £4M for charity.

With CharitableBookings.com, Johnstone combines his expertise in luxury, hospitality, and client databases with his commitment to charitable giving through enterprise. The company's vision is to become the go-to destination for charitable giving while providing users with access to wholesale travel prices and lifestyle benefits.
